SAGITTARIUS-CAPRICORN CUSP NOTABLE: Rodman Edward "Rod" Serling was an American screenwriter, playwright, television producer, and narrator known for his live television dramas of the 1950s and his science fiction anthology TV series, The Twilight Zone. He used the G.I. Bill and disability payments to enroll—ironically—in the physical education program at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, OH. His interests led him to the theater department and then to broadcasting. He changed his major to Literature and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1950. "I was kind of mixed up and restless, and I kind of liked their work-for-a-term, go-to-school-for-a-term set-up," he recounted. December 25, 1924, Syracuse, NY
